Each Pro account is designed to operate with a single set of Rates, regardless of how many Skills, Languages, Genders, or Age ranges are listed on your profile. This means:
Your selected Rates will apply universally, no matter which combination of Skills the project requires.
So, for example, if you offer both English and French voiceovers, and can perform both Middle Age and Young Adult tones, your current Rates will be applied consistently across all these variations.
🤨 Why does the price change in my Profile, then?
You might have noticed that the pricing you see in your Pro Profile is different than your Rates.
Th'ts because the price you see on your Pro Profile is what clients will pay - not your base Rate!
It includes 100% of your Rate, plus a platform markup that helps cover services like project distribution, support, and Quality Control.
This markup varies depending on the language to reflect market demand and the rarity of certain Skills.
So while your Rates stay the same, the final price shown may differ slightly to ensure fair pay and platform sustainability.
💡 I want to use different Rates per Skill!
If you'd like to set different Rates for specific languages, ages or genders, the only current option is to open a separate Pro account for that unique offering.
This can be helpful if, for example, you want to charge a different Rate for work in a rare language or accent.
Our team is happy to support you in setting up an additional account if needed!
🧩OK - but WHY can’t I set Rates for each Skill in my account?
While we know having per-skill Rates would be very convenient, implementing this would require a complex restructuring of our system and algorithm, and adding multiple layers of Rate logic for every Skill combination on every account.
This level of complexity would also affect project distribution, Rate filtering, Stats calculations and invitation matching.
Because of this, we've opted for a simpler, more scalable model to keep the platform stable and efficient for everyone.
