Our Quality Control team uses the following premises to review any deliverable submitted to the system:
Technical Requirements:
- The color palette is balanced.
- The concept chosen by the designer should be clear and easily understandable.
- If the design is meant to be printed, the file should be designed as such, and formatting should be consistent.
- The colors should be balanced and appropriately saturated.
- The typography chosen should be easy to read and understand.
- The typography is well contrasted.
- The text lines should be placed appropriately according to the hierarchy.
- The message the piece is trying to communicate must be clearly illustrated.
- The statement should be as concise as possible.
- The call to action, if any, should stand out.
For Motion Graphics projects:
- If the delivery is going to be a Storyboard and must be sent as a PDF.
- Once the storyboard is approved, you will be asked to deliver it as an Adobe Illustrator file (.AI).
- Every scene should be in a separate .AI file.
- Each of the elements should be exploded and in different layers.
- In the case of having characters, use circular joints in the limbs that will move.
- Shapes and layers should be organized.

Formatting
We expect all our designers to send us their source files and to organize them correctly. Each file, layer, and asset should be clearly labeled and organized in a way that makes it intuitive to follow and easy to navigate.
- Did the designer provide the source files?
- Are the final and source files clearly labeled?
- Are the source files organized, grouped, and easily navigatable?
- Are the layers grouped and organized?
Color Usage
The color palette use should be balanced, and the concept chosen by the designer should be clear and easily understandable. The colors chosen must align well with the client’s brief and match their brand guidelines if provided. If the piece is meant to be printed, the file should be designed as such, and formatting should be consistent.
- Is the file’s color formatted as per the piece’s usage?
- Is the color concept easily understandable?
- Does the color palette match the client’s brief?
- Is the color usage aligned with the client’s brand?
- Are the colors well balanced and appropriately saturated?
Typography
The typography used should be aligned with the client’s brand and/or concept of the piece. The typographies used should be consistent, readable, and well contrasted. Also, if more than one typography is chosen, they should be placed in such a way that the text follows a visual hierarchy that allows the reader to understand the order of the words.
- Is the typography chosen easy to read and understand?
- Is the typography chosen aligned with the client’s brand/concept?
- Is the typography well contrasted?
- Is the typography’s name and/or the file provided for the client?
- Are the text lines placed appropriately according to the hierarchy?
Clarity
The message the piece is trying to communicate must be clearly illustrated and aligned with the brand and the client’s brief. The message should be as concise as possible, and the call to action, if any, should stand out.
- If there’s a call to action, is it clear and the focus of the piece?
- Is the message clear throughout the piece?
- Is the piece consistent with the client’s brand and brief?
