Confused about sporadic rejections by QC team.
Hi,
Every once in a while I get receive rejection from the QC team, that (to me) doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
The latest project I worked on has been rejected because of an apparent "noticeable room echo".
The rejected recording: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ivbiCG_osARD6oKv_q2diy8muueXhVf5/view?usp=sharing
I've done more than 100 projects for bunnystudio so far. Always the same studio, same equipment. I use noise canceling headphones to QA my own work and am genuinely surprised by the sporadic rejections. Just today, I worked on two very similar projects - tone and volume of voice was pretty much the same for both. One got accepted, the other rejected.
Could I please get a second opinion from the community/the QC team?
Thank you,
Otto

Hey Samantha,
Thanks for your response, it's nice to speak to you too!
I look forward to hearing the feedback from your team.
Appreciate your help,
Otto
Hi Otto,
Thank you for your patience. We reviewed your sample and this situation in the meeting yesterday and, firstly, we all agreed that you have a fantastic voice!
There were a few mentions of hearing slight reverb and boxiness in this recording, which we believe could be due to close-by hard surfaces that may have reflected the frequencies in the record.
However, it's really not too intrusive. You could implement more acoustic treatment or cover any of these hard surfaces with soft materials to prevent this slight reverb for future work.
We do apologize for the confusion for one getting accepted and not long after a different project is rejected.
Listening to your quality overall, it certainly has consistently good quality and I believe with this you shouldn't face any more problems like this.
Thank you for your continued hard work on our platform! :)
Hope you have a great weekend.
Kindest regards,
Samantha
