    Hi Rachel,

This is Julian from the Bunny QC team. First of all, we’re glad you take the time to write to our pro community, we’re more than happy to help our pros with all their doubts and questions, and help them to get the top-notch quality our clients aim for.

First of all, the equipment you've purchased is great for voice-over porpoises, since the microphone reference (SM7B) and the audio interface, are well-built gear for recording and give an accurate transduction of the sound of your voice.

Nevertheless, I've been listening to the sample of your work and I found the main issue lies in the acoustics sound of your room. Besides, being a dry-sounding room, there's 'boxiness' impacting your recording which makes it sound as if it was recorded in a tiny space, so the reflections occur rapidly and get caught in your microphone almost immediately.

Therefore, in order to assist you better, I would like to ask you kindly for a photo of your recording booth in order to see the dimensions, materials, and dispositions of your microphone and recording gear. With this, I would be better informed, so I could give better acoustical tips to beat that 'boxiness' issue once and for all!

I hope you find my answer helpful, I hope sincerely you can send me the photo of your recording space ASAP, certainly, with the gear you've acquired, we could help you to get the top-notch quality we're reaching for.

    Best regards,
