Demo rechazado , no encuentro la verdadera razón
Estimados amigos ,
Hi, Christian! Thank you for submitting your application; we appreciate your time and effort. After a thorough analysis by the Quality Control team, we regret to inform you that the quality of your audio and/or your performance does not meet our standards.
- In order to become a VoiceBunny Pro, you must record using professional equipment in an acoustically treated space. The performance must sound natural and conversational and a flat or robotic tone must especially be avoided. We expect all the deliverables to be: well edited, unprocessed, ready-to-use audio files.
- Specific problems found in your application: - The deliverable contains unnecessary silence at the beginning which was not instructed by the client.

Hello, Christian - and thank you for contacting our community. We've listened carefully to the recording you supplied via the WeTransfer link. From a professional VO perspective, the primary issue is not the five-second lead-in (it should be 0,5 - half a second, so you must have misunderstood, perhaps?), it's the ambient and system noise that is present on your recording. As far as VoiceBunny is concerned, 'hiss', 'hum' and system noise are deal-breakers. Clients are becoming very picky and reject noisy reads. There's certainly nothing wrong with your voice; it's beautifully musical and radiophonic. No problem there. You will, however, have to address the ambient noise issue before VoiceBunny will accept you as one of their Pros. As an aside, it's very important to listen to your recordings through good, over-the-ear headphones. If you just listen via loudspeakers, you might miss an issue like ambient noise because the environment you're listening in may produce its own ambient noise. Make sense? Good luck!
Thank You very much dear Carel , I really appreciate your support, I hope to improve the audio quality to be able to belong to the group of professionals of VoiceBunny.
All the best!
Christian
Anytime!
Hi, Cristian!
I agree with Carel You have a terrific voice. I like the color, tone, and fluency of the performance. I suggest you review every step of your signal chain to understand where is all that noise coming from. That should help us identify the weak spots.
Let us know your findings!
Best,
Juan.
Dear Carel & Juan ,
I am very grateful for your support, concern about my case and for your encouraging words.
I have to admit that I am stubborn enough and have re-recorded a new test taking into account your good advice and hope this time better.
Please listen and give me your opinion.

I hope VoiceBunny gives me another chance.
Many thanks

Hello again, Christian!
Superficially, this is a great recording, and VoiceBunny clients are unlikely to find fault with it. To a very critical ear - like those of us who are industry professionals (Juan and myself) and super-picky, it's obvious you've either done a very careful editing job, you've used tightly-tuned noise reduction software or a combination of both. Neither are an issue, of course. The problem is that on some of the edits, there's an audible click, so one can 'hear' the edit, and between closely-phrased words, the hiss problem remains. The reason I'm going to such lengths to point this out to you is because you're treating the symptoms and not the cause of the problem; this remains that somewhere in your recording chain there's a piece of gear that's generating hiss. In my own personal experience, it's most often the mic - but it can be your preamp, your soundcard, or your software compressor as well. If you really wish to pursue a voice-acting career - and you certainly have the voice for it - invest in the very best microphone you can afford. There are top-class German mics like the Neumann TLM103 (a very popular VO mic) or the Microtech Gefell M940 (which I use myself) that have a self-noise floor so low it's literally inaudible. They're both expensive mics, but certainly worth it from a career perspective. However - I admit I haven't tested that many other brands and I'm convinced one will find good mics at most reasonable budget levels. As it stands, however, I would say your latest recording is good - but I am not on the VoiceBunny Quality Control team. Let's wait for Juan to comment.... I wish you all the best, though!
Hi, Cristian!
Much better. I agree with Carel that there are some audible edits (e.g 0:07, 0:11, 0:16, 0:27). I also hear some clicks a fade could probably solve (0:21, 0:42).
The color of the voice changed dramatically. I personally like best how your voice sounds in the first recording. It's brighter and has more depth. The second recording sounds cleaner, but's opaque and doesn't have that spark of the first one.
How did you record this time? What changed?
Curious to know!
Best,
Juan.
Dear friends,
I am very grateful and surprised of the uninteresting support received by you. Let me tell what I did, I changed room for this second test and I got into the closet hahaha
Helped a bit but it's true, the noise problems were only "disguised".
Thanks to your advice I decided to stop recording my locutions at home and I recorded this finally in my studio.
It is definitely much better, I hope your comments and correct criticism.

I am a Chef the Cuisine and I also make voices so I was trying to see if it was possible to record at home, or in my restaurant because of the practicality .... but I learned the lesson and I have discarded it and now I will do it as in this last test ( https://we.tl/dxsZletizP )
Again a million thanks for your support! I am indebted to you Carel & Juan !
BEST!

Amigos Carel y Juan , alguno de ustedes habla español ?
Puedo hacerles una consulta adicional?

Dear Juan and Carel ,
I will try to do it in English.
I wanted to tell you that after being accepted I have not been able to be invited even for 1 project.
Today I received a Speedy as part of a summary of VoiceBunny projects, but I was not invited in any and therefore I could not participate, and that Speedy Proyect was still in the process of approval and I saw that my voice is perfectly adapted to the project.
The questions are as follows:
1.Do You Suggest me to contact with VoiceBunny to be taken into account for this Speedy? (Maybe it might be useful to at least listen my auditioning )
2. What can I do to receive an invitation? I have several demos placed in my profile and my rates have been lowered to have better opportunity, however nothing happens yet ...
All the best!
Thank You Friends
Christian
Another Q:
I have my room well isolated and I am using a micro Apogee but still perceive the small noise due to the low natural noise cut of this type of USB micros that do not go through an audio interface.
What can I do to avoid buying another mic? Or should I still get an audio interface and another mic ?
On the other hand, if you had to choose a mic (for quality, price and especially for its noise reduction)
What do you think of these 4 :
1.Audio-Technica AT4040
2.Avantone Pro CV-12 vs
3.Rode NT1A
4.CAD E100S
Or do I have to go in search of a Neumann TLM 103 , what is going to cost me an eyeball ... although it is worth it :)
Looking forward to hearing your advice soon
Thank you so much
Christian
Hi, Christian!
In regards to the projects I was checking your profile and I have these to say:
1. Your rates are quite higher than our average. Most new talents start with lower rates than usual to make sure that they are being included in our invitation system and are not being left out. Once they create stats and start getting invitations and projects more recurrently, they increase the rates slowly. As your rates are quite high for a new user, the system is inviting more people prior to inviting you.
2. You have been part of our system for roughly 2 weeks. Keep in mind that this is still quite a short time for you start seeing an incoming flow of projects. Give it a little more time :)
3. Keep in mind that 85% of our projects are Bookings. Contests and Speedies are not the go to project type for our clients so it's more meaningful to build your profile with versatile samples in the different categories to make sure your voice is being found by our clients. I suggest you take a look at the categories where we have the fewest samples and upload some of them there!
Hope this helped!
Hi Angelita ,
Thanks for your support.
I will follow your advices. I'm going to take advantage of your good vibe and ask You for some extra help.
1.What would your rate suggestions be for starters?
2.Thanks, I'll have patience.
I was worried that there was not ONE proposal, but I understand that it was due to the rates factors you mention.
3.Excellent advice
Thanks so much!
Warm Regards
Christian
