Samples feedback after quality rejection

    Hi Marcel!

Great voice and range! But if you listen closely, you can hear room echo/reverberation in all your samples. The best solution is proper acoustic treatment for your room. If that is hard to achieve, then I'd suggest using a vocal shield or even a Kaotica Eyeball could help improve this problem. Solve that and you're good to go!

    Good luck!

    Hi, Marcel!

I second Sebastian. The room where you are recording is not appropriate. It's to 'live', meaning that there are many reflective surfaces so the sound bounces many times before fading away. It's important to record in a dry space, so only the direct signal of your voice is recorded, without having that reverb.

I invite you to check our community article on how to solve room echo so you can fix the problem before working on a real VB project. https://help.bunnyinc.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/203461624

Besides that, I think your voice and tone are great!

    Best,

    Juan

    Hi Sebastian and Juan Santiago,

Guys, thank you for all your suggestions. Actually work with a partner who has a really good studio setup, including a fancy Neumann TLM193 Mic ;) We just talked about some reflection on the window cabin, maybe I was very close and this Mic its really sensitive in capture, even had to check if some kind of Bus on the DAW was adding some kind of reverb. He check some of the samples and send me these again.

    Could you check these please?

    Best Wishes

    Hi again, Marcel!

Yes, the samples still have a loud reverb. The voice sounds distant from the mic, and you can clearly hear how the room sounds.

If you listen to the demos with a good pair of over-the-ear headphones you'll be able to pick up what I mean right away.

    Best!

    Hey again, Marcel!

Good to hear back from you.

Wow, much much better. Samples #18 and 19 still have room echo, e.g sample 18 0:04.

Thank you for sample 21! ;)

I'm thinking that in samples 18 and 19 you spoke louder and high-pitched. Probably those frequencies resonate more inside the room. Try experimenting with volume and pitch to see if you can identify any connection.

You could give a more professional touch to your recordings if you edit out the mouth noises (s17 0:07), digital glitches (sample 16 0:05), distracting breaths (s17 0:03).

    Best!

    Juan.
