Improving stats for Speedys
When I first started with VB last year, I made a few mistakes with my Speedys because there was so much I didn't know.
As a result, my stats took a big hit.
Well now I'm much smarter, faster, and make fewer mistakes. How can I get a chance to redeem myself if the algorithm is already set against me with bad numbers?
I know I could do much better now if given the chance, bu I haven't seen a Speedy in MONTHS.
What can I do?

Hey Ripley!
Sorry for my late reply here.
So, to check what happened there we would need to know a bit more about what happened. When you got your first speedies, what happened that lead to not seeing them again? Did you let them expire or did you take too long to submit the recording? We could analyze the situations and see if we can ignore some of these from the stats (depending on what happened) to boost your Speedy index and see if this does the trick.
Speedies are usually super fast and have tighter deadlines than all our other projects, and at the same time, they are one of the least used projects by our clients nowadays as Bookings are getting super popular now.
Let me know what happened back in the day and I'll see what I can do!
I am wondering about your algorithm. Does it have a "forgiveness" function built in?
I mean that if someone proves themselves over time, and then encounters a glitch, such as a house disaster, or computer freeze etc. (insert your favorite glitch here), it means that they will take a stat hit. Ok. But can the software, recognizing former greatness, assume the possibility of bad luck and, after a bit of time to allow for glitch repairs to take place, give back some of the lost stats?
I think this might be a good feature for performance and an increases in bunny happiness in bunny land.
This might also address the sort of problem that Ripley seems to have encountered.
Hi John!
This is a great suggestion. Thank you!
Our system doesn't have that built-in, but there's where we come in! Whenever you have this kind of issues, we're here to help and review the case for you. There are many cases where we manually ignore a project from impacting our Pro's stats. We do this on a case by case basis to make sure we're analyzing all the variables that could have impacted a project's submission. For example, if the client is pending from providing some feedback and the project expire, it would be unfair for it to have an impact on your stats.
So, whenever this happens, we're always available to review the cases and make any necessary changes to how and which projects impacts the stats to be able to make things fair!
Thanks for the update. It is good that humans intervene to smooth things out.
No problem, John!
