    Hi Duncan!

Great job! The modulation is super nice and engaging and you make a very good use of your breathing voice. The enunciation is a bit flowy though so it's quite hard to understand what you're saying at times!

Quality wise, the recording is very sibilant so you may want to check why your high frequencies are getting that strange boost. There's also a lot of hiss noise in the background of the recording. You may want to check that, too!

    Hi, Duncan!

I think you have a great voice and I think the performance is great. It sounds natural and engaging!

Quality wise there is some room for improvement.

    1. There is a considerable amount of hiss in your recording. You can hear it better towards the end like at 0:32. It'd be great if you could achieve a cleaner recording.

    2. For some reason, your voice sounds filtered, especially in the low-end frequencies. It's a bummer because your voice has a great color and that's being lost in the recording. It makes your voice sound thin and it's losing that body and richness. This could be due either to the mic you're using or if you're adding any processing like EQ later in the mix.

What mic are you using? is that the AT20-20 in the picture?

    Best,

    Juan.

Thanks Juan, There are sound effects added on the sample that might be perceived as 'hiss' My Mic is an SE electronic 2200a II . I will revise the EQ, Dynamic processing compression I applied to the sample.

Thanks for you time Juan and Angela
