Rejected for sound issues
I applied for a speedy. I was told it needed the following revisions and to submit again.
At 1:19 these words sound very quiet compared to the rest: ‘milk, ice cream, yogurt and lots of cheese!’
At 1:28 it should read ‘just feel better’.
At 3:15 this sentence sounds too loud compared to the rest: ‘She likes vanilla and chocolate non-dairy milk because it’s indulgent and tasty.’
They said it was the same issue and they rejected it. I could use some feedback please. The first file is the original. The second file is the revision. Thank you for your help!

Hi Lisa!
Thanks for sharing!
So, listening to the files, I notice the issues present can be a result of the extreme use of a noise reduction plugin. You can also pick up the effect of this plugin at the end of many sentences. You will be able to notice that the last syllable of the last word is smoothed out too much too much to avoid clipping. This process is automatically done by the process.
The issues in leveling are more likely because the noise reduction is lowering the volume of the main frequencies that are present in certain words.
Please avoid the use of this plugins. The issues that a noise reduction process tackles should be fixed from the root to avoid further problems of distortion.
Thank you for your review. I will work on my editing skills as I do not use a plugin.
I understand, Lisa.
Thanks for letting me know! Then, take a listen to how you're fading the sentences. In your case, the fades need to be shorter and the cuts a little farther from the end of the word. This way, you're not cutting any after image of your voice that may give the recording the naturality it's required.
Try that out and share it with us!
Thanks Angela for the advice! That really helps. I will try that and will share it. I appreciate your help!
Anytime here to help, Lisa!
