Zero feedback
17 year radio vet here. I'm a level 2 seller on Fiver and I've done commercial voiceovers in major markets. Hate to whip out the resume but, I'm new to Voicebunny and I've submitted over 15 samples. No response or even an invite. Am I missing something here? Am I submitting audio incorrectly? please advise. A coworker of mine submitted 2 audio samples and got gigs from voicebunny. I would think I'd get at least a notice or two or at least an invite with 15. Let me know.
Thanks!

Hi William,
Thanks for asking about this and welcome to VoiceBunny!
Our platform uses an algorithm that takes into account many different stats related to a Bunny Pro's history to send invitations. Most likely, you haven't been invited to contests or speedies yet because there are others with better stats and/or lower rates who are invited to projects before you. This is quite normal as you're still a new Pro and you're using our average stats for Pros. Also, please keep in mind that we have around 5,000 Pros with your same language skills.
So, while you get started, you could consider lowering your rates. Usually, our regular Bunny Pros have started with lower rates to make sure they can start building a good reputation within the system and, then, increase them once they see a steady flow of projects and their samples have a good ranking.
The vast majority of our projects are bookings though (around 90%) so it's key to have a lot of high-quality samples for purposes you see there's not a lot of offer. To give you an idea, our successful Pros have around 50 and our seasoned Pros have over 300! We even have users that have been with us for a long time who have accumulated over 700! I suggest you go over our Browse voice actors section so you can see which purposes have the least offer and maybe craft some good samples you can upload there!
We have also compiled a nice guide with good practices you can keep in mind when getting started with us. You can try those tips and see how things go! You can read the article by clicking here.
Last but not least, the Bunny Engine requires a lot of patience and fast response to start picking up so at first, it's normal for it to be slow. Keep in mind It's not easy to build 50 samples, let alone 300. More likely, your friend has lower rates or responded super quickly to his first invitations and that's why you see he has gotten some Bookings now. Don't get discouraged by that! Things may work differently for each user.
Hope this helped!
