Does anybody have any suggestions of how to eliminate this. Should I get back further from the mic.

Maybe try speaking across the axis of the mic (45 degree or so), rather than straight into it? I found this greatly reduced plosives in my recordings.

Hi, Raymond.  Right off the bat I have to ask if you heard the plosives in your recording?  If so, you should not have submitted it.  That dreaded mouth noise comes from your mouth, NOT from your equipment - which is what I'm sure you now know.  Did someone suggest that you buy new equipment to prevent this?  I hope you can get your money back!  Are you working with someone to do your recordings?  If not, you're going to have to do extensive research on your own.  Go to Youtube and put in your problem in the search grid.  There is an unlimited amount of free advice there.  Are you "popping" all the time?  At the beginning of words or at the end?  Practice, practice, practice!  Speak aloud all day, all night, in your sleep  :)  Have someone tell you if you're not using your mouth properly - enunciating words, etc.  Moving back slightly from the mic will help, as well as Richard's suggestion of speaking sideways into the mic.  Remember:  your mouth, your noise; it's not your equipment.  There is editing software that will remove those awful sounds but, bottom line, you have to practice talking to avoid the problem in the first place.  I have complete sympathy for your plight.  As they say in the neighborhood:  "been there, done that!"  Good luck, and don't forget that you should not submit recordings that have unwanted noises.  :)

    Hi Raymond.

I'm sorry for this inconvenience. I remember the issue in your previous submission was because there was too much hiss in your recording. Were you able to trace it back and you had to make changes to your equipment? I'd love to listen to the recording that you submitted this time so we can help you.

Remember we're always here to help and give you all the feedback possible! You can have the best equipment there is, but, as Fatema says, it's important to know how to use it to be able to deliver the best recordings you can. I'm sure we'll all be happy to pitch in and give you insights on your recording :)

Please share a Google Drive, Dropbox, Soundcloud, etc. link so we can listen! Don't get discouraged. I'm sure you'll be able to improve!
