Just venting
I just had a Speedy for Microsoft, Order 9270AF84AEBE9320B27A
So, I'm accepted and I open the full script, yay! Wow, ok, its actually THREE scripts. With THREE reference videos, for pronunciation reference. I have to get cracking!
Get the first set of recordings in on time. *phew*
Revision request 1: Too many pauses. Make it more conversational... Ok.
- Revision submitted in less than 30min. Yay me!
Revision request 2: Thanks for the quick turn around! Can you redo these three lines?
- This one was resubmitted over night.
Submission Rejected. Order cancelled. Why? 'Not exciting enough'.
They NEVER PROVIDED DIRECTION! They never *asked* for exciting!
So, they jam 3 scripts into a Speedy, don't provide direction and after 2 Revisions, reject the job because it doesn't have the tone they want. SO FRUSTRATING.

Hi Byron
I'm sorry for the inconveniences presented here! In future occasions, please let us know when you see a project getting 3 different scripts in one part. We can go ahead and talk to the client and see if we re submit the project in separate parts.
Also, keep in mind that this is just ONE client. We have many others that have been happy with your deliveries. Don't get discouraged :)
I was also checking the last recording you submitted for this project and I notice it has some hiss, a short slap back echo and several mouth noises that are quite distracting. I invite you to review the room you're recording in as the echo and hiss may be coming from your room. You can try to position your microphone differently or review how's your acoustic treatment and make any changes from there.
For mouth noises, it's a matter of editing as they're mostly at the beginning of a sentence or at the end. Make sure you're editing (cutting and fading) the recordings to make sure they're as clean as possible.
Hope this helps!
