Pending reconsideration
Hello,
It has been about 11 days since I was rejected for my submission and requested reconsideration. After searching the forums I understand it can take up to 31 days to get another shot. My project was declined due to being in the wrong age category but no mention of anything else wrong like pops, clicks, hisses compression etc. My question is mainly how can I change the age category settings in my profile, I cannot find it anywhere for some reason, (maybe I have to be approved first to change anything?) I remember checking teen and young adult. I don't want to be given another chance and to be asked to do another teen submission when it seems that was the main problem.

Thanks for reaching out about this.
As you said, you won't be able to change the age category you chose until you're approved. As you chose one that doesn't represent you, I would suggest we close the current account you have with us so you can start your registration over. This way, you can choose other 2 age ranges that match your voice better. Would that work?

Yes that would absolutely work. I would like to request to close my current account and start my registration over to choose the correct age category.

Consider it done! Sorry for taking long to get this done but we were in a company retreat and got a bit behind with requests. However, you can now create a new account using the same email address.
