returning to Voicebunny-Angela Serrano advised I post here :)
Hi!
Angela Serrano advised I post here. I was having great success with VB until I moved and tried recording without my home studio. I have set it back up and am back to high quality sound!
I record using a blue Yeti with a kaotica eyeball in a vomo booth.

Hi Jennifer!
Thanks for your audio.
There are some quality weakness in your audio. For example, the voice sounds a bit distant from the mic. There's a lot of ambience which is degrading the quality of the recording. Try to get a closer recording. Also, there's loud hiss throughout the audio, and watch out for background noises.
The voice in this audio sounds very thin, there's almost no low frequencies. I invite you to try with a non-usb mic, maybe that can solve many of the issues like hiss and frequency response.
Let me know what you think!
Best,
Juan
Hi Jennifer
Thanks for sharing!
I agree with Juan on all he said. USB mics are not ideal for professional voice over recordings so we highly suggest you try an interface + XLR microphone combo. We created 2 cool guides on how to choose a microphone and interface you can check.

We also explain how microphones work and give some insights on why we believe USB mics are not ideal for these purposes on our Mic 101 webinar recap. You can read that one here: https://help.bunnyinc.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/205414030-Microphone-101
Hope this helps!
