Really Annoyed

I submitted an audition this morning and maybe my voice wasn't fully awake (it was 7:30am) but my audio was rejected.

Uh-oh! I'm sorry, but the work you submitted for Backup for Add2Kitty was rejected by a Bunny Manager due to the following reason(s):

Hi,
your recording contains white noise, over your voice.

Being an ex studio engineer and commercial producer, I do have pretty good ears. In fact, I'm trusted by many and never had any complaints from clients. Quite the opposite in fact. My audio has zero white noise.

Hi Tom

I was checking your recording and it does have a high level of hiss on top of your voice. It's not during the silent regions, but it is indeed present while you speak. I'm sorry for this inconvenience!

Can you please check what could've happened? I believe this is coming from your gear, either the preamp, the cable or the microphone. What mic are you using? I suggest you record a couple of seconds without talking and listen to the file.
