    Hi Todd!

Thank you for your interest in working with us! I was listening to your file and I have several things I'd like to point out:

    1. The audio sounds very boomy. This is usually triggered by an inappropriate acoustic treatment of your space. This is because lower frequencies are longer than higher ones which may end up bouncing much more and being amplified in your microphone when you start recording. Also, if you're using EQ, please bypass it as you could be boosting the incorrect frequencies.

I'd also check the microphone you're using tho. There are times where a mic's frequency response may not be the ideal one for your type of voice.

    2. Your audio has a high level of hiss as well. There could be several sources for the noise. I suggest you take a look at our webinar on Hiss Noise where we cover all the whereabouts of the issue: https://goo.gl/JZSXnf

    3. The recording also has some room echo present all over your recording. This is 100% a problem that comes from an incorrect treatment of the space you're recording in. You may want to take a look at our webinar on acoustic treatment. We give you tips and recommendations on what you can use to treat your space once you're aware of the isses your space has. Check it out here: https://goo.gl/eeCpwH

    4. There are very harsh edits where you made cuts on the recording. This is usually caused because you didn't fade the clip end/start or you made the fades too short. When you edit, you need to make sure you're leaving enough space after a word was said and, then, create a fade that allows the clip to finish smoothly. Same when you start a new clip!

    4. I feel that your performance is a bit hesitant. The tone changes and the enunciation is a bit hesitant as if it was the first time you read the script. Some of the end point don't feel like pauses which makes it a bit hard to follow. I suggest you give the script 2 or 3 reads before you start recording to make sure you understand what the text says and you can convey the message clearly. Our Pro Tommy Griffiths goes much deeper on that in the webinar we hosted together on how he achieves the perfect recording. You can find it here: https://goo.gl/gSVTdD I suggest you watch the video alongside reading the recap. He really gives some great examples!

    Hope this helped :)
