So, I sense the file is quite boomy and sibilant. This could be happening because you're recording in a space that is too small which causes some frequencies to be boosted. Maybe you can try to change the position of your mic in your studio to see if this changes. You could also try to use a pop filter and recording a bit farther away from the mic.
What equipment are you using? This could also give us some light there!
I also hear a lot of mouth clicks that distract from the performance. We invite you to visit our community page where you’ll find tips on how to control mouth noises: https://goo.gl/qcgpc8. You'll also find additional information to help you achieve professional results.
Thanks to both of you. I purchased some dense audio foam and plan to have it installed by the end of the week. Hopefully that will do the trick. I already have a pop filter. I'm using a Rode NT1 mic and a Focusrite 2i2 interface. I'll also try repositioning my mic. Any and all feedback is welcome.
