Rejected repeatedly for hiss. Sample attached. Help!

Like several others here, I'm starting to get many of my jobs kicked back for sound quality issues -- hiss and slight room echo. It's happening despite the fact that I've done hundreds of jobs here and was ranked #1 in bookings for nearly 2 years.
I've made a number of adjustments, and I submitted this sample to VB, but they say they still hear hiss. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Charlie!
I am still listening to the background hiss there. It's quite present. Would you mind letting me know how you're recording and which gear you have?
This way, I may be able to give you some thoughts on what could be the issue.
A CAD e100 phantom powered mic, running directly into a ProTools rack mount unit. I was running it through an Aphex 207 preamo, but I took it out of the chain (even though it gives me a great vocal soud) since the hiss was louder with it in. I've replaced my cables, and isolated the mic cable from the electrical cables.
Hi Charlie!
I agree with Angela, there's still hiss and a slight undesired slapback. Try to reduce the amount of energy of the reflections in the room to help you achieve a cleaner recording. I think you have a terrific voice! Both the hiss and the room echo are degrading the quality and clarity of your voice.
Best,
Juan
Hi Charlie!
Sorry for taking some time to get back to you here.
So, about the Rack unit, which interface do you have in the rack? Is it an Mbox, an eleven rack or an HD system?
Let me know!
