    Hi Kane!

Thanks for giving it a shot, we really appreciate your efforts. I can understand your frustration, however from giving your recording a listen, there are a few points that strike me as being very non-English:

For example, your pronunciation of the words America, Together, Very, Getting, Exactly etc. should have a softer sounding 'Eh' sound.

Also, the word 'Film' should be pronounced with an 'Ih' sound.

The word 'You' sounds like you are saying 'Yuu'

Overall, I think that you need to practice making your syllables softer, we English really talk much blander than you guys! We tend not to put emphasis on a particular syllable.

I hope that helped! All the best,

    Kitty

Hello, Kane! While your submission is certainly a valiant attempt, VoiceBunny's Quality Control team won't accept your accent as British English; the team tends to focus on a clearly defined and standard UK accent. Consider 'Received Pronunciation' as the one they'll be listening for, unless the brief requires something more regional.

You see, it's not only in the way you tend to flatten your vowel sounds as you speak; it also has to do with lilt, rhythm and inflection. If you were to compare UK Received Pronunciation with your own, you'll instantly hear the difference. Unless you really want to make a mission of acquiring such an accent, I suggest you adapt your profile accordingly to spare yourself the frustration of ongoing rejections.
