Hi George!
Thanks for sharing your setup. Can you please share a recording you recently recorded? You can share a Soundcloud, Dropbox or Google Drive link!

Can you listen to my samples on the VO Bunny site? I have taken the bad ones off. I added a new one this morning.
Hi George
Thank you for sharing.
I am checking the file and your performance is really amazing! It's obvious you have a lot of experience and I am certainly impressed at your amazing acting! Really! Wow!
Quality ways, however, I do find some issues that should be taken into account.
1. Hiss noise. This is what makes me the most concerned. You can pick it up when you listen to an edit and then you start talking again. The hiss may be coming from the space, but it could be created by something from your equipment. Would you mind let me know which preamp, mic and interface you're using?
2. There are some plosives and editing mistakes. The plosives are more likely being triggered because you're recording too near to the microphone. You can fix this by getting a bit farther away from the capsule when talking louder. The editing mistakes it's a matter of cutting a bit more precisely and adding some longer fades to the endings and beginnings of each section you cut.
Hope this helped! I'd love to have you in our platform as soon as possible! I'm really impressed by your voice!

please go back to Sound Cloud https://soundcloud.com/george-kane-130225609 and listen to new sample EbayP see if background hiss is present I have tried to address low fan noise.
Hello, George!
Thanks for sharing. I also think you have a great voice :)
Quality wise, there are a couple of notes. The noise floor of your recording chain is too high. Probably the noise is coming from your preamp. You may want to try recording with less gain and then raising the volume in the DAW.
In general the output volume seems a bit low. Are you normalizing to -3dB peak?
There is a slight room echo in your recording. Is the recording space acoustically treated?
We invite you to review the webinar we hosted on how to control and manage hiss here: https://goo.gl/nlaCvU.

George, review the links and let me know what you think!
Best,
Juan.
Hi George!
As Juan mentioned, the recording indeed has a lot of hiss.
I just listened to the file name Scarlett2i2 and it sounds better but the hiss is still very present. I believe it's no longer from the preamp but from your space. How are you treating it? Maybe you could add some extra layers of absorption or switch the positioning of your mic within the space.
The article Juan shared on acoustic treatment shows our go to solutions for home studios where you're either getting started or may need an extra kick. I personally record in my closet with Kaotica Eyeball and it works really well! It's not perfect, but it has worked really well for me.
Give it a read and let us know!
Wow !!!
I absolutely loved your voice and the way you spoke in the 'I am a Voice actor' clip .
