    Hi Steven!

I am listening to the file and there's an electrical hum in the file. More likely, this is coming from a piece o equipment that may have an issue or that is not of the best quality. I suggest you check all your pieces of equipment separately and switch up the cables if necessary. Which pieces of equipment are you using? Keep in mind that if you use a USB microphone, more likely this is the issue!

Also, there's some room echo in your recording which makes the voice sound damp and as if it had an effect on it. I highly suggest you review how you're treating your space and maybe add a layer of absorption.

    Hi Steven!

Additional to what Angela mentions, there is room echo in your recording. Your voice sounds distant and you can hear the reflections in the room. To solve this issue you must treat the acoustics of the recording space to control the reflections.
