Charging for Script Editing
I received a recent project where I had to sift through 64 pronunciation samples and edit the script accordingly before I could voice it; it took me longer to do this than to voice the script!
Would it be possible to implement a fee (much like charging for a revision) when the Pro has to edit the script before voicing? You'd have to agree that it one Pro gets a 500-word script that needs to be researched and edited before voicing, while a second Pro gets another 500-word scripts that's ready to voice, the first Pro isn't being fairly compensated for their time.
Clients should also be instructed to submit scripts that are written to reflect the pronunciation they want. The Pro shouldn't be put into a scenario where they have to guess. For example, pronouncing the number "1200". Does the client want it pronounced "twelve-hundred," or "one-thousand-two-hundred"?
Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Chuck

Hey there, Chuck!
Thank you for reaching out to us about this.
We absolutely agree that projects may contain very specific instructions.
In this case, while the idea would be that you get a script ready to go, sometimes clients may not be aware that they are not being clear enough.
For this purpose, you can absolutely reach out to our CX team via live chat (you can see it on Your Projects main page), or, via email, on the same button.
They will be able to check your situation, and, in some cases, some arrangements may be made to compensate for your hard work.
We apologise for this situation you've encountered, and we understand that these situations get in the way of you accomplishing your work with speed and getting it right on the first submission.
For active projects, the team that will be able to make any arrangements will be the CX team, they are ready to help anytime you need!
If you feel that there are any cases in which you were able to complete the project, but the stats you are getting from it are more negative than beneficial, we can offer to remove the project from your stats. You will not lose the review you earned from it, but it will no longer impact your numbers for ranking. =)
If that is the case, please send an email to support@bunnystudio.com , and we'll make sure to check it out as soon as possible.
We hope that this situation does not happen again, but if it does, our CX will be happy to help!
Kindest regards,
Gabriela Schneider
