You wake me up at 0230 AM to tell me to work for free?
So,
My phone is always on. It has to be. I have family who may need me in the night, I also have a couple of demanding clients, one pays well, and the other, they don't pay much at all (But I still love you Bunny Studio).
At 0230 AM a SMS comes through - of course it wakes me up - "Booking waiting for you"...
I'm pretty aware that if I don't rush downstairs, drive to my studio, warm the place up, and get the recording done immediately, my already poor stats with VB will just get worse. I'm not getting out of bed though.
04:49 AM Email pings through with a reminder for the job. It's ok. I've not gone back to sleep following the SMS at 0230, so the more subtle sound of an email coming through doesn't usually wake me.
0730 I crawl out of bed (Pretty cold here), go to my home studio rather than work, take it from cold and dark to light and cosy, to find VB are offering me this job at £0. $0. Euro 0. For once, the currency conversion doesn't matter so much.
So, you wake me up, ruin a nights sleep, to offer me a job, that pays nothing, and you're likely to affect my stats for not accepting it quickly in the dead of night!
Voice Bunny, you're like a distant cousin that we never see, always breaks something when they visit, but, we still love you.
I know the solution is:
Up my rates
Switch off SMS notifications
But, you don't seem keen on paying me what other clients pay, so, that could mean less jobs from you (There's already very little), and without SMS notifications, you wouldn't be getting the exceptional service from me that you do get when you slide some crumbs my way.
I NEED COFFEE!!

Hey there, Gary!
How do you do, today?
Firstly, I'd like to thank you for messaging us about this in the Community. We're always happy to be of help!
And, of course, I'd like to apologise on behalf of our platform for this issue you have encountered.
The reward showing at $0 is not normal, as our system does not allow projects to be created without rewards, so you have done right by flagging it for our team! This was, very likely, some sort of instability regarding that very project.
We know it's unfortunate, but in the event that these happen, we have your back, and we'll help as much as we can!
In these cases, we're more than happy to remove these projects from your stats, so you are not penalized for something that you did not cause.
On a side note, Bookings may be created at any given time, though we understand that the invitation may reach you at such odd times in the night. We have clients worldwide, and timezones, of course, may be difficult to manage between a client posting a project, and Pros who receive an invite to work on it.
Further on, the flag functionality is there for you to use whenever you have a problem completing the project, or, alternatively, you can always reach out to a CX Agent via our Live Chat! You can find the chat in your Dashboard page, on the lower right corner. Just choose whichever options fit your issue at the moment, and an agent will look into said project right away!
Once again, I kindly apologize for this issue you have faced, and all inconvenience it has caused.
You may absolutely send an email to support@bunnystudio.com with some projects you wish us to review from your stats, and we'll check if they are eligible to be removed from impacting you negatively!
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you require any assistance with projects, your account or your profile.
Our team will always be glad to help you out!
Count on us, and know that we'll always do all we can to improve your experience. =)
Kindest regards,
Gabriela Schneider
So,
I of course notified VB that the price was £0, after flagging the project, I went back to actually do it for free - Because that's the kind of stuff I do - Customer is King - Always.
I couldn't do it for free, VB had prevented its completion after flagging, but, then came back with a $28 ish job.
I've upped my base rates which may mean less from VB :-(
What I LOVE about VB is their jobs are usually tiny, I can slip them in to the breaks during the day (If there weren't extreme time constraints) My day in the studio is filled with other people, and instruments, and all kinds of stuff, so, easy for me to slip into a side studio and knock out a recording or two.
Let's face it, the staff are amazing at VB too.
Just wish I'd see and hear more from them dangling more carrots.
Thanks Gabriela for your detailed response.
All's good. I shouldn't complain about any work coming in really! It's all good!
Kind Regards
Gary
Hello there, Gary!
Thanks immensely for your reply - and I apologise for taking a while to get back to you here! =)
We're going to take some actions internally this year to improve everyone's experience with our platform, so keep an eye on it! And, of course, if you require any assistance, count on us! We're ready to take a look into any issues you encounter.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you need!
Best regards,
Gabriela Schneider
