    Hello Alex!

Could you share one of the previous recordings just to compare with the new one?

This last one sounds nice! I think that with some extra corrective EQ it would be ready to upload! (At the moment it could be categorized as "boomy") I hear the low end a bit too strong, so maybe lowering a couple of dBs around 150-200Hz could help, just make sure to not go too overboard and if you want, you can share the end result here so we can keep working on it together!

    Kind regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel!

Thanks for the great tips! I agree, it's too "boomy". I lowered the dBs to 145Hz. Here's a link to listen to that update: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EeH5DdBlqY8oqpYOPakDkVDO6Ijrezoc/view?usp=sharing

Here's a link to listen to an old sample of mine I previously tried to upload. I don't use this sample anymore because it's very "boomy" and there is room echo present. I have since acoustically treated my recording space to have a -60dB noise floor. Here it is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ilW45RhTqk2Zcy2TZcXbgya5oY13oERe/view?usp=sharing

After all of my samples were rejected, I recorded all new+different voice samples and acoustically treated my recording space. I'm happy to post them all on here if you would like. There are about 7 total and each is 15-25secs long.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to my samples and give great feedback!

    Hello again Alex!

Let me say that the quality has improved a lot from before! That room echo issue is basically gone, congrats!

I think maybe you lowered too much the frequencies on that second file, I took the liberty to play around with the original file you uploaded and I think I got to a very subtle EQ setting that could help you:

This is taken from the ProTools generic 7-band EQ, but feel free to recreate the settings in your EQ of choice, notice that it is a slight -3.6dB decrease that keeps your voice mostly intact but controls some of the low end.

If you used a similar setting, your EQ might be coloring the signal a bit because that second file has some extra mids that were not present before. I think at the moment that they might be resonance created by the dip at 145 Hz.

Feel free to give that a try and let me know how it goes for you!

    Daniel
