Hello all, me again. Taking some time to refine my sound. If anyone has some time to review this, please step in. I'm looking for crit on the following:
1. white noise/hiss
2. reflections
3. boxiness
4. boominess

I just gave your sample a listen, and I think it sounds nice! There is still some boxiness but is not that strong, that issue is always caused by near-field reflections, could you share maybe some pictures of your acoustic environment/recording setup to see if they are caused by anything in particular there?
Although, to be honest, it is not that strong, you have it almost completely controlled!
I don't think any of the other issues mentioned are present, although you can always try to send another sample without noise reduction since that process can sometimes be a bit problematic, and see how that one sounds.

All my previous pictures and samples are there to look through. If possible, I'd like Hiroshi to step in here and also provide feedback because it seems that he is the main factor affecting my ability to work. I don't think I deserve to have my work rejected if it has met QC's standards before? The quality of my work is not abominable - you can hear all the dialogue clearly, apart from a bit of boxiness here and there (which I am bending over backwards to eliminate).
I usually try to avoid Hiroshi's schedule so that I can actually get a chance to work with the more diplomatic QC agents. But now it seems he's around unexpectedly.
I'm determined to get to the bottom of this - there must be simple setup that he can be happy with?
