Cannot Accept Speedies Fast Enough
I will keep my "Your Projects" page open, with sound notification turned on to be able to apply to projects as soon as they come in. I will immediately click "Accept Project" and read the instructions as the 30 second timer counts down, but when this timer has finished and I click the second "Accept Project" button to confirm, it says "No longer assignable" because another pro has beat me to it. This keeps on happening, and is frustrating that I keep losing out on every opportunity for the Speedies that hit my inbox- and I cannot possibly click through the process any faster! Any tips on being able to accept more Speedies?
Thanks,
Scott

Hello again Scott!
Thank you for sharing that experience with us! We understand it can be a bit frustrating, and I want to share with you some info about how our system works and some extra tips for you:
The two biggest tips here are to decrease your rates a bit and improve your stats.
On the other hand, if you believe your rates are at a comfortable level for you, some extra tips to accept projects faster are to always accept and keep an eye on the timer, accepting with the second button as soon as it finishes the countdown, and then working right away on the project. From other Pro's experiences, we have seen that keeping the dashboard page constantly refreshed and having a wired internet connection can help you reach the project page a bit faster, and it can be enough advantage so you can get the project first!
Let me know if this info is helpful and if there is anything else I can do for you today!
Kind regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for being so helpful and responsive in these forums!
Based on your comments and my experience, it seems like the other pros in my 'batch' with faster internet/processing capabilities are just clicking through all of these invitations before I can. This is unfortunate for me since I can't seem to do any work for your team during the daytime, and have to wait for the pros with better internet connections to go to bed.
In regards to your advice on lowering my rates- will this move me to an earlier 'batch' of invites, or will it let me receive invites sooner than others within my 'batch'? My problem is not that I am receiving too few invitations, it's just that there always seems to be another pro able to accept it first.
Thanks,
Scott
Hi Scott!
Lowering your rates should allow you to get invitations on an "earlier" batch, giving you a better chance! Also, keep in mind that, although rates do help, stats are the most important factor, so you can lower your rates until your stats are nice, and then you can increase the rates and will keep being invited soon if your stats are great :)
Let me know if you have any other questions and I will be more than happy to help!
Kind regards,
Daniel
Hey Scott. For what it's worth, I had a similar concern. Recently I changed my cell service and my notifications are coming through superfast via text - minutes before it shows up in my email inbox. My internet is quick, so maybe it was the specialized email/website, or security software, or who-knows-what.... But now texts come in immediately and though I don't do many Speedies, it has even helped my response time a bit.
So maybe ensure you're getting notices via text and try to look for a convenient change with your platforms. I hope this helps. Cheers!
Thanks for your input here Scooter!
Those are great tips, sometimes those technical advantages can mean enough difference to accept a project!
Give them a try, Scott, and let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Daniel
I am in the same situation with speedies although it seems to be a bit worse. I was invited to over a DOZEN speedies today while sitting at my computer. I clicked on each one of them instantly and not only was the speedie already accepted by another pro... it was ALREADY DONE! Yet they still show in my "available Projects" I am pretty much done with even attempting considering it is a HUGE waste of my time where I can be recording other projects. Why send out the speedies when they are already done... that proverbial "carrot" is impossible to get based on how it works for some of us. It also clutters up my inbox for my email. This is BEYOND frustrating.
