My audition was rejected for not sounding like the sample while other auditions were accepted which sound LESS like the sample
I just thought I would upload a quick comparison between the "Sample Preferred by the Client", my own (rejected) audition, and the approved auditions which sounded less like the client's preferred sample than I do. (The files is uploaded to my personal cloud service, and I'll delete it eventually.)

Thanks a lot for reaching out. First of all I want to apologize on behalf the whole team as we understand that getting rejections, specially when we think our voice overs were alright, is really really frustrating.
I was listening to your audio and I have to agree with you. Sometimes, when we are on the QC process, specially when we are trying to match a voice similar to the client's requests, there is a little bit of subjectivity involved and we as humans can make mistakes. I would really appreciate if you could send me the link for the project where you auditioned in order to share it with the team so we can learn from this situation. Personally I do think your voice over would have been a good fit for the contest but maybe one of my colleagues could have had different thoughts about it.
