Unprofessional equipment?? What does that mean?
Hi folks,
I'm in process of applying to be a pro here and got the feedback - and then just got rejected on the basis of:
"1.) Unprofessional equipment- It sounds as if the audio was not recorded with professional equipment. Please ensure you are using a professional microphone and equipment to record properly."
I don't get it since I have a professional studio from which I've booked a lot of work. I have an AKG Condensor Mic, Scarlet 2i2 preamp and Studio one as my DAW.
I've yet to get whoever made this call to elaborate - so if there is some sort of issue, I could correct it. This feedback is not actionable unless I know specifically what you mean.
Also - is there a more efficient way to respond to feedback for elaboration?
Thanks in advance. I'd really like to know what was meant by whoever made that call.
Here's a link to what I submitted.
