Home Studio /Booth Improvement
Hello dear Team of Voice bunny!
My name is Jacob Katana and I wanted to contact you about this boxiness issue that recently appeared when upgraded my booth.
I thought of buying basotect+ to improvise my sound ambiente. But it seems like I degraded it instead!
i have a 1,65 length, 1,55 width, and 2,25 meters vocal booth that is in my room in the corner.

This is the sound sample I recently made with current placement of absorbing foam 6x 100cmx50cmx5cm on my right and left side and 2 100cmx50cmx10cm basotect in front of me. Under those two basotect there are two bass traps of basotect in the right and left corner. I still have left one 10 think plate and 2 5cm plate that I could use. So this is the sounding right now (in terms of noise floor its seems to be lesser than before ... , in terms of voice sound.. its sound I think better now, clear , crisp and not so "dull" as before)
Could you provide me with your feedback? Does this new "improved" setting meets your standards? Im still figuring out how to set things right, so I don't have to go back to my old (but with no issues) studio environment.
Thank you in advance
Sincerely Jacob

Hello guys I posted a sample about my current studio settings. I replaced all of those absorbers again and I think " in my hearing" it's more near to the standard again. what do you think, I need fast feedback to continue working. The samples are not eqd or edited at all this is the raw input that comes into the mic and then into the daw.

EQing the issue is no problem. So what do you think about the ambiente.

Hi Jacob,
This is Julian from the Bunny QC team. First of all, we’re glad you take the time to write to our pro community, we’re more than happy to help our pros with all their doubts and questions, and in they help them get the top-notch quality our clients aim for.
Regarding your latest samples, I do not hear any boxiness or room echo in your recordings, additionally, the noise floor is acceptable for the category. On the other hand, I recommend you keep the same quality consistency as in the sample named 'test 2 update for voice bunny.wav', with this quality, we as the QC team, will not have any problem accepting your future submissions.
Thanks again for your time and attention, I hope our advice could help you get the quality you're looking for. If there's any other doubt or question, do not hesitate to write it down on this same thread.
Kind regards,
Julian Cubillos
Hello Julian good evening!
That’s great news and thank you for attending this issue.
This is my standard for now.
Though I was wondering because with those accepted samples I already had this and then the rejected once was made later , but with the same settings.
As Gabriela mentioned it could be a glitch, there is actually no other explanation since I used the same we processing preset as those speedies earlier which were accepted.
So it was out of my control
But I will upgrading again with a monster bass trap to get control of the lower frequency and lower noise floor a little again.
Thank you for sharing the information
Sincerely Jacob
