Can’t accept Speedies fast enough
Hello!
I wonder if you might have some advice for me - I have the projects page open on my laptop and set to play a sound whenever a new project becomes available. I’m working on my laptop all day so it’s literally right in front of me. I click a new project as soon as it appears but even if I click accept straight away, it’s always already taken. It seems to be the same 2 or 3 people getting all the work and I’m not sure what else I can do. Is there a trick to this? I seem to be hitting brick wall after brick wall with the platform and I’d love to just get on with producing some voice work for you! Any advice you have would be very gratefully received.

The more competitive your rates are, better the chance of receiving projects a little earlier than other Pros, which will help you improve your stats greatly and you'll have more room for raising your rates after a while!

Thanks so much for getting back to me - just to say I did actually change my rates again yesterday and I've secured a few projects today! So it definitely helps to make adjustments and stay competitive.
I'll keep experimenting and hopefully once my stats update the work will pick up.

I have the same issue and I got the same answer over a year ago. I adjusted my rates and got more opportunities.... but it was a different "2 or 3" pro's always getting the work. Seems the team is "always working diligently"... but nothing seems to change.
I'm still having this problem!
I never get sent any speedy or contest emails too! I used to get lots of them in the past and get regular work... This is so fustrating.
I have the same problem. Regardless of how quickly I try to accept a Speedy--literally the second after the audio notification--it's already been accepted by another Pro. I have a very fast internet connection with Ethernet, but it still doesn't seem to matter. I'd like to know what the secret is that allows those few Pros to accept Speedies faster than everyone else.
