Everything disappeared from my dashboard?
Last night my dashboard looked totally normal - there were plenty of projects listed under "Previous projects that match your current profile and preferences" (including several speedy's and auditions that I'd completed). Then I got an available audition, read through it, decided I wasn't very well suited for it so I left it be.
A little while later the new audition disappeared (I assume it had the required number of auditions sent), but then when it went away so did everything listed under "Previous projects that match your current profile and preferences". Right now my dashboard is TOTALLY empty. It just says "No previous projects matched your preferences. You may update your rates and preferences at any time."
Is something broken? I haven't had any available projects pop up for about 14 hours - no auditions, nothing. I know that it's the weekend and that breaks are normal, but I usually see something at least every 5-6 hours.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I am having the same issue. I have been trying to get it resolved for almost 11 days now but I am getting no effective solutions or responses. have you had any luck?
William Bradford - Nope, no response yet, which is slightly worrying.
Besides posting here I also made a support request 48 hours ago, which as of now is showing that someone looked at it 4 hours ago but didn't respond to me (it's still open).
I'm new to voicebunny and the first 36 hours or so everything worked great, now it's been 2 days since I started having problems and no one has replied.
Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in this company.
Alright well keep me posted if you hear anything thanks!
Will do - and I would appreciate it if you let me know if hear anything as well.
Take care!
Just got this from support....
Hi William,
We've reviewed your case and there isn't any bug affecting your account. The weekly email that you get is not just matches your gender/age and your language, it does not take into account your stats.
Bearing this in mind, the fact that you don't see those projects on your Dashboard under "Previous projects..." can happen without being linked to an error.
The "Previous projects..." section varies depending on your stats which also vary over time.
The VoiceBunny platform is very competitive and while your stats are good, there are other talents that the algorithms consider to be "better." You are compared to other talents in your language, age, and gender group. You haven't been invited to castings or speedies lately because there are talents in your demographic with better stats (faster response times, lower rejection rates, etc.) and lower rates who were invited first and one of them successfully completed the project.
Something to note - Your speed response stat does not take into account data from bookings. So, the time you take to complete bookings does not affect invites for speedies and castings. You should continue to get bookings with no issues.
How can you get invited to speedies and castings?
- The system starts sending out more and more invites the longer a project goes unfulfilled as it approaches the deadline set by a client. If we reject a lot of submissions, you may eventually be invited.
Since the speed response is a comparative stat, if other talents slow down, you may be invited.
Basically, there is nothing you can do on your side to get more invites. It's all dependent upon the performance of other talents in your age/language/gender. The good news is that the vast majority of our projects are bookings. We've seen a dramatic decrease in the amount of speedy and castings as more and more clients prefer to use Search n Book.
What we are working on now:
- Very soon, we will have a page that tell you exactly how you rank vs. other voice actors stat for stat. We will also have a page that details why you were or were not matched to a specific project. So, in the future, all this data will be accessible from your stats page.
We are currently brainstorming ways to help talents improve stats without having to take projects away from talents who have maintained excellent stats throughout their time on the site. If you have ideas on this front, my ears are open.
I know this answer is disappointing, but the platform has gotten so competitive over the last year that while your stats are good, we have talents that are considered "better" by the algorithms. This is simply how the platform was designed to work.
Sincerely,

Hi Rob,
That "previous projects" section changes very frequently based on your stats. Getting rejected, allowing projects to expire, your response speed, etc. all affect which projects you will be invited to and when. I recommend checking out your stats page to help you figure out where the problem lies.
If you want to see projects you've worked on before, click the link that says "accepted projects" on your dashboard.
That's a long way of saying "our algorithm is broken" in my opinion. I mean, how can a person improve their stats if they can't get work?
Also, I haven't received any of these "weekly emails" I keep reading about, and it still doesn't explain why everything under "previous projects" would disappear in the blink of an eye.
FYI, the new stat page is up, showing our relative ranking to other talents in our bucket. It may still have a couple of kinks, but it is there. -- Cat
I'm having recurring issues along these lines.
I was on a roll, winning many projects. Then all of a sudden I stopped getting email notifications about pending jobs (although the jobs would show up in my dashboard) That issue was resolved - now I'm not getting email notifications, no jobs are showing up in my dashboard, and the "previously available jobs" that used to be houirs/days old are suddenly months old. Haven't been able to audition for a job in more than a week. Weird. And the voice actor assistance folks seem more "nice" than "effective."

There's definitely something wrong that voicebunny just isn't telling people.
Every speedy I've done has been approved, and they say "your stats aren't good enough"! I have a 100% approval rating, how much better can my stats be? I responded to every speedy I managed to get (before the issue started happening) within minutes, so the stats thing just doesn't make sense.
My dashboard is STILL empty. No previous projects, no new projects. I've lowered my rates as far as they'll go (not saying I'd take a 5 hour job for $5, but I wanted to see if that was the issue) and still nothing.
If the issue is that there are too many established voice actors on here that have hundreds of successful jobs and they gets picked before someone new who has maybe 5-10 successful jobs then voice bunny should at least have the decency of telling us up front that we won't see speedies/auditions until we have many many bookings under our belt.
I agree with you - support is nice but they don't seem to be able to either A) Fix anything or B) Explain what the problem is. Just canned answers (like the one above) and then the ticket gets closed.
Hey William,
The reason you were seeing lots of invites, did some projects, then didn't get as many invites is due to the way stats calculations work. You must have at least 5 submissions in order for the system to calculate your ranking. Prior to having 5, the system considers you above average to give you a chance to get some stats under your belt. Once you hit 5, then you are in competition with the rest of the talents in your demographic. This is probably what happened. You reached the 5 projects completed milestone and other talents are being invited before you. You can check your stats page to be sure.
"'stats" "stats" "STATS" I say, stats until the end of time.
OK, I have ZERO completed projects, which means I'm in the initial "above average" ranking. If that's the case, then there isn't any work for "above average" talent because my dashboard has been blank for two weeks now. (I used to have a long list of "unavailable jobs", and an occasional "available" - now nothing.)
"IMPROVE THOSE STATS!" Yeah, can't do that until I get at lease ONE actual audition in the loop.
Either you changed something or you have a sudden dearth of customers, because your explanation (STATS!) does not fit the problem. You're telling people they're not getting auditions because they need to improve their stats, which they can't even get started unless they get something you say they can't get until....
I'm pretty sure that I will get the e-mail for lack of activity here in a couple weeks and when I see that my dashboard is still blank (which I'm sure it will be), I won't bother to log in.
If it is your intention for new talent to never get that first audition, then your algorithm is working great. For somebody.
