Canadian taxes
(First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong topic, I couldn't find one that fit well)
I am hoping one of my fellow Canadians can help me out with this. I am new to voice acting and Voice Bunny and I'm wondering how this will work for tax purposes. Do I need to setup my own "business" or am I a Voice Bunny employee. Any help is greatly appreciated, I am so excited to start my voice acting career.

Hi Owen!
Disclaimer: We do not provide tax or legal advice.
VoiceBunny voice actors are independent contractors (not employees). You will need to check with your local government to find out how to claim income from VoiceBunny and other online services. I did find this article, but do not know how accurate or reliable the source is: http://sbinfocanada.about.com/od/Ask-Susan/fl/Have-I-Started-a-Business-amp-What-Does-That-Do-to-My-Canadian-Income-Tax.htm
Hi Owen,
I'm a fellow Canadian here. Any follow up on your initial query regarding pay and Canadian Taxes?
