Dashboard isn't working correctly
I've seen several people post about this from as far back as a few months ago to as recently as today. The VB answers have ranged from "it's a bug that's been fixed" to "it's because your stats are bad". Well, unfortunately, neither of those seem to be true. It's definitely a bug that has not been fixed and is still occurring for several voice talents, including myself. As a matter of fact, this is the second time in almost three months this has happened to my account.
I submitted a ticket and was given a cut and paste answer about stats and the selection process which did not address my issue at all. I said as much in my response and still have received no further communication about this problem. I'd love to be working and submitting auditions but I can't until this is fixed so I really hope someone from VB can help in this forum.
Here is the problem in greater detail:
As happened a few months ago, about two weeks ago, my dashboard no longer listed anything - neither available projects (which is understandable) nor currently unavailable projects (which is very unusual). Before anyone suggests this is because I'm a newbie and my stats aren't great, let me just tell you that when I log in from my cell phone, everything shows up correctly. It's when I log in with my studio computer (and any other desktop) that this information is unavailable. Hence, it's a bug and I'd really appreciate an update on if it's being addressed and when it will be fixed.
I've been favorited by three job seekers just in the last couple of days so I know something's working correctly. It would just be nice to have confidence in the website's ability to alert me of actual jobs, past and present, so I can attempt to land some gigs.
Thanks in advance for reading this. I hope to hear from someone soon.

Hi everyone!
Hope you are all well, I've checked each of your profiles to see what can be happening with the invitations on your Dashboards and have also checked for potential bugs with our engineering team. Here's what I found:
The reason why you don't see project invitations or past projects on your Dashboard is because your stats don't match those projects, even though your preferences do. You will still get the weekly emails about past projects because the projects showed there are the ones that matched your language and gender/age, but no your rates or stats.
Staci: We've checked the system and Google Chrome is working perfectly fine. The reason why you don't see project invites or past projects on your Dashboard is because so far your response time has been low in comparison to other talents, also you've gotten 5 rejections and 2 expired projects which have negatively affected your stats.
John: You haven't gotten any rejections which is great, but your response time stat is still low, this has caused invites to be sent first to talents with higher response times.
Michael: You've gotten 12 rejections and 2 expired projects. This has affected your stats and therefore projects are being sent first to talents with better fulfillment rates.
Avery: You've gotten 1 expired read and 1 rejection, but the stat affecting you the most if your response time, it is very low in comparison to other voice actors in your language and gender/age.
I hope this information is helpful for all of you! I'll be more than happy to help you if you have further questions.
Hi Staci!
My Dashboard reset itself in Feb. 2015 and I still haven't received any new Castings or Speedies since.
I wish you luck, since I've visited all avenues for support (with lots of cookie cutter responses),- even contacting Tara Tyler directly, with absolutely no resolution.
I'ts particularily frustrating that I was just gaining momentum on the site and still receive notices of being favourited regularly.
I've moved on and couldn't even be bothered to request that my profile be deleted (since talents can't do it themselves)!
I found out that we are having issues with the website on the Safari browser. Can you tell me which browser you are using?
Thanks for the response, Tara. I'm using Google Chrome on my desktops as well as my cell and tablet. Miguel is looking into it for me but two sets of eyes is better than one so if you find out anything, I'd really appreciate you sharing.
Thanks again!
I have tried VB in ALL browsers and ZERO castings etc since the Dashboard reset the same as Staci has reported. ZERO.
I have received the standard cut/paste response that the others have. I recently lowered my rate significantly to see if that changed anything but it has not.
I'm experiencing the same issue. It is immensely frustrating seeing as Voice Bunny helps supplement my income of which is currently very limited. I have not received projects in almost a month's time. I continue to receive copy/pasted FAQ responses.
Hi Tara...
Has there been any further movement on this issue. I still have no projects listing at all even after lowering my rates.
~Michael Stone~
OK... I have simply decided to opt out of VB entirely.
Any chance you can check into mine? I have 1 expiration, but 10 submissions with no rejections. Thanks!
Hi Miguel,
Thanks for looking into this. I understand my rejections (of which I feel 3 were clearly inappropriate) would affect my stats and thus prevent me from being invited to castings. However, my response time stats are seriously skewed incorrectly, as I've recently discussed in a request for assistance from VB support (with no answer from them yet.)
To be more specific, one of the first projects I completed required a small revision. I immediately returned the revised audio... probably within 10 minutes or less. However, for some reason when I view my "Accepted Projects" it claims that "It took you 269h, 3m to submit this revision." That is absolutely absurd! There's no way it took me over 11 days to submit a small revision! I can pretty much guarantee you that this error is what is causing me the most trouble with VB and I hope someone will finally answer my request and fix it.
Furthermore, incorrect response time and questionable rejections aside, I have been directly booked by a client within the last week, favorited by 3 additional voice seekers in the last two weeks and I even graciously provided a FREE audition at the request of one of your team members who informed me that another client was interested in directly booking me.
If my stats are going to be negatively affected by subjective "quality" standards and website errors regarding my response time, it seems only fair that my stats should also positively be affected by getting direct bookings, favorited by voice seekers and quickly and graciously responding to FREE audition requests that are made directly by the VB team rather than the usual protocol via the website. (By the way, I was never contacted by this team member after providing the free audition so for all I know, the client either changed their mind or worse, my audio was used and I was not credited for it.)
It's really a shame, especially for new users like myself, that a few mistakes on my end and on VB's end would lock me out of the system forever. I'm new to this site but not to the industry. In fact, this is my full time job, I run my own VO business and I was hoping to supplement my income by participating on VB. I may not be the best voice talent on this website but I've got a lot to offer and can make clients very happy (see my reviews). It's extremely disappointing that VB won't allow me to participate in the process and help make everyone some extra money.
@Michael Stone - I feel your pain. I'm about to opt out, as well, if they can't or won't correct at least the incorrect response time stat in my profile. This is becoming more trouble than it's worth. Good luck with your other endeavors! I wish you much success!
Correction - according to the project page for Doc Dial (the project which incorrectly lists my response time as " 269h, 3m to submit this revision") it states that my submission was crafted in 30 minutes and 51 seconds - a far cry from over 11 days. Will anyone from VB be fixing this for me?
Algorithms are fancy and efficient but they certainly don't tell the whole story. They are penalizing when the wrong numbers are input and it's irresponsible to rely solely on those algorithms. IMHO, they should be a tool used in conjunction with human oversight if any business wants to rise to the top.
Hi Ryan,
The expired project is affecting you, I've replied in your support ticket with further information :)
Hi Staci,
Thank you for the heads up! The revision times issues is already being addressed by our engineering team. However, it is just an issue of displaying the time in the graphic interface, calculations in the back are not being affected and invitations are being sent normally.
