Edit/Replace After Submission & Trouble Ticket From Job Page
I'm working on a project right now. I accidentally uploaded and posted the wrong file. I knew it almost immediately and went to replace it, but I can't. Now I have to wait until there is QC coverage and it gets rejected, so I can upload the correct file.
It would be nice if I could just do this. And it would save everyone a step in the process.
It would also be nice if we could open a ticket directly from the job, and it gets tied to that job. That way support knows a ticket is open that is concerning an in process project.

Apparently support thinks this is already in place, since I opened a ticket to try and get a file replaced before it was reviewed and sent on to the client.
I was told to "just re-upload the file," even though I opened the ticket because there was no way to re-upload a file.
Now the wrong file has passed internal testing and been sent on to the client.
Yikes. At times like this, I usually go for the direct chat method with VB. Only works during business hours, but if you log off your dashboard, you should see a green chat button. This gets you to the front-line. From there, explain situation and ask to speak to a production manager. I've had good luck working with the VB team for things like that.
Note: I still like your idea of being able to replace a read (or add a second take - with a note of explanation). -- Cat
