How do I get more project invites?

Also what is happening with this new system?!

I eventually get an invite to one contest. That doesn't even say how much the audition is for the contest anymore! I go for it, get accepted by QC. But I obviously didn't win the contest or the client rejected the project and it's now saying I've been rejected by the client, which is now affecting my stats? What is happening! I really dislike this new project lisiting ways!

    Hi Lotty,

Thanks for reaching out with these questions!

As you know, our system takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining which Pros to invite to projects, including Pro's Rates, Stats, and availability. We've reviewed your profile and we're confident that your Rates seem to be good! However, we also want to point out that your category/language is highly populated, which means that there is a lot of competition for projects.

In order to increase your chances of being invited to projects, we suggest that you consider the following:

    • Constantly play with your Rates.
Even a small decrease or increase could make a big difference in your chances of being invited to projects! Keep in mind that lowering your rates too much may also prevent you from getting more projects.

    • Research popular and active Pros in your category.
Take a look at their Rates and compare them to yours. This can give you a better idea of what is competitive in your category.

We also want to remind you that the price on your profile is an estimate, and it is essentially the Pro's Rates + our markup. This markup helps us to cover the costs of running our platform and providing our services to Pros!

In regards to the project negative stats:

Unfortunately, we're having an issue ignoring projects from Pros' stats in this new system. It seems some rejections and expirations are still being taken into account. However, our engineering team is aware of the issue and working on identifying the cause, and they'll be working on a fix soon!

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We are always working to improve our system to make it fairer for all Pros.

    Sincerely,

    Gabriela Schneider
