    Hi there Wayne,
How do you do? We hope well!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this feature. We completely understand that it was a useful tool for our Pros!

In light of this, our engineers are preparing some cool updates to be implemented in projects, and this idea is being discussed as a possible feature again. =)

Keep an eye on the platform, especially on 2024, we'll have some cool updates to share!

Kindest regards, and keep up the amazing work,

    Gabriela Schneider

Thanks for the response. :) You're the best.

Just want to point out it was more than just useful, it was rather essential.

Ninety-nine percent of all the samples I have on your site are in my native accent, American. But I also do a pretty decent British accent so I have one or two samples showcasing that. A client booked me thru the new system after hearing the British accent sample but didn't specify it or mention it. So after recording the spot (and it was a long one), the client wrote back and said, "Where's the British accent?". And I had to do it over again. The client has subsequently booked me for multiple times, so it all worked out in the end... but we NEED the reference. For this siltation and others.

    Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I'd like to second Wayne's point. Without a reference, we're essentially flying blind. If the client has a particular sound or delivery they're after, we must know about it beforehand to avoid confusion.

As an example, I just had a project that asked for a "laid back energetic" delivery. If the client had supplied a reference, I wouldn't have had to guess what they meant by "laid back energetic."

In fact, as a feature I'd make it a must that the client supply a reference when submitting a project.
