Never fast enough to win speedies
Hi all,
I’ve been finding it near impossible to win a single speedy in the past year or so. I get on average 30-40 invites on a weekly basis and work alongside my laptop that is open to my Bunny projects page, so I can quickly click a job as soon as it comes in. I have 100% approval for speedies and my rates are lower than the speedy rewards posted when they hit my dashboard. When I click on a job a second or 2 after it comes through it’s often already unavailable or taken after trying to accept once the countdown clock hits 0. I’ve been able to win roughly one speedy a month, which ends up to being less than a 1% success rate. I know invites are sent out in groups and I’m probably not in the first group to be sent invites to, but how can we as pros get into the first group of invitees? I know the standard responses, lower your rates, click on the job as soon as it comes in, keep your stats pristine, etc. I have a fast connection (300 Mbps currently) maintain an exceptional sound quality and have gained performance experience to be competitive in the professional market of voice acting, which I’ve maintained for years now, getting booked occasionally here and on other pro platforms. I need advice that will help me and others on the platform who are in the top 10% understand what Bunny Studio is doing to make this platform fair for it’s talent and more than a waste of our precious time.

Hi Frank,
Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback with us! We completely understand your frustration and truly value the time and effort you’ve dedicated to maintaining your Stats.
As you know, we do our best to keep every aspect of our platform as transparent as can be to our talents, so they know what to expect and what they can do to improve their accounts.
As you’ve correctly pointed out, the platform’s competition has become more noticeable recently, and this is tied to a lower number of projects being distributed compared to last year. With fewer projects available and a large pool of Pros, specially for the most populated languages in the platform, it might indeed feel like grabbing a Speedy is more challenging than ever.
Our system distributes invitations in batches to ensure fairness and offer our clients a certain variety of voices to choose from, while factors like Rates, Stats, and responsiveness influence invitation priority, so even Pros with great Stats and competitive Rates, such as yourself, may find it tough to accept projects due to this increased competition.
We want to assure you and all Pros that we're constantly researching and working toward providing more opportunities to all our Pros. We understand that some Pros have been struggling to accept projects as of late, and we're taking this into consideration for our next updates.
If you have additional questions or suggestions on how we can improve, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
We truly appreciate your dedication, and we are here to help!
Kind regards,
Gabriela Schneider
Thanks for your reply. I understand the highest performers being invited first, and I think that only makes sense if you want a handful of the same voice actors to represent Bunny Studio for a given language, but maybe a system that is more fair would have the first invitation batch made up of a mix of 60% of the 1% pros, 30% from pros in the top 10% and the remaining 10% from the remaining group, with subsequent invitation batches using the same structure. This way everyone has some chance of getting a job once in a while, rather than only the top performers getting the first invites, leaving no chance for anyone other than the top 1% pros who already get 99% of the work. This would allow for those who can no longer win speedies at least get a fighting chance.
Hi Gabriela,
Is the suggestion for batch distributing of Speedies and Contests from my last comment above something that Bunny Studio would be interested in implementing? I feel like nothing will change for those of us who only get an average of 1 job a month or less if the correct system remains in place.
Hi there, Frank!
Hope you've had a wonderful start of 2025! =)
We apologize for not responding earlier to your feedback, we recently had some issues with our Community system and we decided to suspend it until we fixed it! We're back on track, and, following the rhythm of the New Year, we're also gathering feedback from Pros to improve our platform further this year.
We thank you for your idea, and I'm happy to let you know I've shared your feedback with our product team. We have some exciting plans for the next months, and we hope to bring more opportunities to all of our talents soon!
If we can assist you with anything in particular regarding your account or settings, don't hesitate to contact us as support@bunnystudio.com. We'll be happy to help!
Kindest regards,
Gabriela Schneider
