Help with re-application
Hi Bunny community,
I have made such a mess! I would appreciate your assistance please. Last night, I submitted my internal audition for the teams review. However, instead of submitting the studio please, I sent in the rehearsal which I did in the office. Needless to say, it didn't pass! However, I clicked the 'If you'd like to try again' link on the email, to try to attach the ACTUAL audition file, it went straight to a submissions 'We will consider a review' page and no where to attach the new file.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Vonnie!
Thanks for letting me know about this. You're referring to the application project or to an actual project? Let me know so I can investigate how we can help :)
Thanks Angela. It is for the application to join Voice Bunny as a VO.
Eeeek, I will put it down to a late night and tech issues (mine not yours!)
Thanks again for investigating!

Thanks for letting me know, Vonnie!
So checking here, I do see that the recording was rejected. HOWEVER, please know you can request another chance at the application project. To do this, just login to your profile and click where it says "You've started an application process, Click here to continue it". This will send a request to our system so you're added to the queue and can receive another chance.
Keep in mind, though, that it can take anywhere between 7 and 31 business days to get to you. This timing depends on how many applications we have in queue.
Hope this helps and we look forward to your reapplication! If you want, you can share the actual recording so we can also give you some feedback. This way, when you get your new app, you will be 100% you will pass!
Thanks Angela. I appreciate the guidance. I have added a DropBox link here to the demo.....has it worked?

Hi Vonnie
The recording sounds quite filtered and has some echo reflections that make the recording as if you were recording in a very reflective space. The hiss is also very, very present.
Can you let us know which equipment you're using and where you're recording? The file as it is now wouldn't be accepted :( I'm sorry!
Hi Angela,
Thank you for the feedback, I wonder if there is something up with my studio monitors or mic?!
I have an acoustically treated recording booth and use a Neuman TLM103. I am going to do some checks. As what's feeding back to me sounds fine.
Thank you again. Is it alright for me to be back in touch?
Vonnie
Hi Vonnie,
I agree with Angela, there is room echo in your recording. The foam inside the booth is not absorbing all the energy so it reflects and creates that effect. The audio is a bit bright too, and some s's are standing out. Are you doing any processing to the recording?
Best,
Juan.
Thank you both for your feedback! I have done some adjustments and will resubmit a file that is more suitable. I appreciate your help! Vonnie
Hi Vonnie!
Thank you for letting us know. We'll be here to listen! Also, if you can answer our questions, it would help a lot to understand a bit better what's happening and how you're recording :)
