Hi J.E!
Can you please share the links to the samples? I don't see them on the original post.

Hi J.E!
There is room echo in your recording and your voice sounds distant from the mic. Also, the edits are too noticeable. Are you adding fade in/out's to the audio regions? Some fades are too abrupt and the audio sounds intermittent.
What equipment are you using?
Best,
Juan.
Hi Juan, the equipment is up to spec, just my laziness with acoustics. Passed Whisper room, Rode NT-1 , double pop filter, acoustically treated boom. Before, mouth 8 inches from mic. Back to Mouth 4 inches from mic. New file below.

Hi J.E!
The voice still sounds thin and distant. How are you amplifying the signal from the mic?
The room echo is still present. You may want to try re positioning the mic in another place of the booth where the reflections are not that strong, or maybe try to add some more layers to absorb the energy.
Have you listen yourself on another mic? That can help too!
Best,
Juan
