Hissing sounds

    Hi Nat

Angela from the VoiceBunny team here. Thank you for sharing the recording!

So, checking it, I do feel a hiss and a hum noise all over the recording. This noise could be coming from the space as I also pick up a slapback echo that is making your voice sound quite boxy and thin. This, alongside some boominess, gives the impression as if you were recording in a very small space. The main cause of this problem is usually the acoustic treatment and size of your booth so I'd suggest you review that area. I highly suggest you make some adjustments in regards to microphone positioning and, if possible, some changes on the materials you're using to treat it.

There are also a lot of mouth noises and plosives which I'd say are caused by recording too near to the microphone's capsule. Please adjust the distance of your pop filter and try to record a bit off axis. This usually helps a lot with this problem.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Nathalie!

I hear some noises that can be removed by recording a little bit farther away from the mic. What processing are you adding to the audio? In general it sounds heavily limited, and that's also raising the noise floor.

Performance-wise, it sounds a bit robotic, one of the main reasons why our client reject work. I suggest you try a more natural and conversational tone.

    Best,

    Juan
