I've lowered the noise floor since my previous attempt quite a bit, and would appreciate any feedback on the technical aspects (and if we get past that, on the performance) of this sample.

Thanks for sharing your recording. In general, qualitywise, the voice sounds thin and filtered. What equipment are you using?
The performance is a bit flat and monotone. It kind of gives the impression of being computer generated, one of the main reasons why our client reject work. I suggest you try a more natural and conversational tone. Change of rhythm and intonation is great to provide a more human and expressive voiceover!
