    Hi James!

There are some issues with your audio. There is a loud noise in the background throughout the recording. Also, the audio is a bit bright and compressed. I suggest you pull back on the processing because it's degrading the quality of the audio.

    Best,

    Juan.

Thank you Juan, I need some help from you on this.

    1. I am in a treated space - quiet room inside a booth covered with sound blankets.

    2. My laptop is under a table far away from my microphone.

    3. My sound floor is showing as -66 db  I could use a gate to decrease the sound floor but did not want to do any thing to effect the sound.

    4. There is no processing to this file - Warm 87 Mic to my preamp dbx286S with no processing

                A) No Compression, No De-Esser, No Enhancer

                B) My level and gain was set where I was peaking between -6 & -9 db when recording and I normalized to -3db.

               C) I am speaking 6 inches from the Mic and using a pop filter.

               D) Two separate coaches - Anthony Reece and Bill Deweese listened to samples and they both said my sound is good to go and broadcast quality - So I am trying to understand what I need to do?

What recommendations do you have?  And what do you mean by saying the audio is a bit bright and compressed?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
