About reconsidering an application

    Hi Jose!

Yes, you have three chances to apply t o VB.

Unfortunately, there is still audible room echo (reverberation caused by your recording space) impacting your recording. Please ensure you record in an acoustically treated space or use a professional recording booth.

You’ll find tips on acoustic treatment on our Community page: https://goo.gl/vGqUIW .

There's also loud hiss in the recording, we invite you to review the webinar we hosted on how to control and manage hiss here: https://goo.gl/nlaCvU

    Best,

    Juan.

Thanks, that's actually the same recording.

My doubt was about the re-application process.

    Hi Jose

    Let me answer your questions.

    1. You need to request a reconsideration before you can be considered again for VoiceBunny. To request a new application project, please go to your Dashboard and click where it says "Click here to continue it". This will send a request to our queue and you'll receive a new application within 7 and 31 days.

    2. I agree with the comments from Juan Santiago and our team. The main issue present with it is the extreme room echo that you can pick up. Your voice sounds kind of distant and it also impacts the intelligibility of your voice. I suggest you review your acoustic treatment. There are cheap ways in which you can try to see where the main reflections are coming from before you go ahead and treat the room fully. You can try with a portable vocal booth, for example!

    Hope this helps :)

Hi again, I have made adjustments to my home studio.

Could you please evaluate if the quality is up to par now before I apply again?

    Hello Jose

I listened to the audio and while it does sound much better, there are some issues in it that need addressing.

What bothers me the most, is that the recording sounds quite and has a high level of hiss noise. I also feel the recording is very compressed and quite filtered. Are you using any processing (i.e. compression, noise reduction/denoising, equalization, etc.)? If so, please bypass all your processing as it's affecting the overall quality of the file.

I also pick up some plosives so I recommend you to record farther away from the mic and at a slight angle to reduce them!

Hello, after a variety of changes and updates; could you please assess the recording in the link below before I apply again?

    Hello, Jose.

Congrats on your voice! Great performance.

I'd suggest you clean up the recording by getting read of those loud breaths and mouth clicks in between phrases. You can use some fadings in order to do it.

Apart from that, I believe you're good to go.

    Regards,

    Oscar

Hello guys, I reapplied some 12 days ago and have not received any notification still (checked spam as well).

Is that a normal waiting period for a re-application? I so, after how long should I reach out again if I get no notification?

    Thanks!

    Hey Jose

It might take up to 31 days for the system to send you a new application project.  https://help.bunnyinc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002587679-How-many-chances-do-I-get-at-auditioning-to-become-a-Pro-

If you still have not received it after that time, please send us an email to support@bunnyinc.com

Hi, I need help here after receiving quite a shock from you guys.

After one year updating equipment and getting ready to join you, after having gotten a green light from you guys here, I apply for a second time and I'm rejected because "it's not Spanish from Spain"?

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a way to see the profile details I entered originally, but I'm from Latin America and work in neutral Latin American Spanish.

I may have indicated in the profile that I could also do (and have done professionally) European Spanish; again, I cannot see it and it was a long time ago.

    Could that be the reason?

Is it a glitch in the assignment I received?

Whatever it is, it is either a human or a technical glitch; and in any case, solvable with one click.

Please, let me know because I'm in total shock here.

What can I/you do about it?

    Thank you.

PS. Is it because of my contact information? I do live in Spain at the time.
