VB newbie needs a little feedback
Hi Everybody,
The last time I did a lot of VO work, there was a thing called tape, which wasn't quite so complicated. Not only that, I wasn't required to have my own studio setup, as that was provided by the radio stations :-)
Anyway, before I start burning through my 3 auditions with VB, I'd like to get some feedback as to any improvements I need to make. Any constructive criticism as to how to improve my chances of passing the VB application process is most welcome..

Thanks very much,

Hi Kent,
Thanks for your audio and welcome back to the VO industry :)
Qualitywise, there are a couple of issues with the recording.
- there is audible room echo (reverberation caused by your recording space) impacting your recording. Please ensure you record in an acoustically treated space or use a professional recording booth.
- there are loud mouth noises that detract from your performance. If possible, please edit them out. Otherwise, please re-record the parts where this issue is present and edit them back into your final deliverable.
You’ll find tips on acoustic treatment on our Community page: https://goo.gl/vGqUIW and here you’ll find tips on how to control mouth noises: https://goo.gl/qcgpc8.
These guides can help you correct the issues.
Best,
Juan.
I would say look more for narration as opposed to marketing. Your voice could be very dramatic, but not necessarily as much passionate about an object.
