Rejected Accent sample

I have just completed a speedy that requested a middle age with an accent from England. My work was rejected as my recording did not meet the client's accent requirement. My accent is authentic English and originates from the middle of England.
Due to the client not specifying in the project what type of English accent they required my work was rejected. Please Voice Bunny could you ask Client's to be more specific of their requirements?
I am now wondering will my stats be affected by this rejection?
I have included the recording of my voice that I did and would love feedback on it please?

Hi Soo,
I agree your voice sounds authenticly English. We normally look for the so-called 'received pronunciation' (more southern England) so sometimes these types of rejections happen. I'll look into removing this from your stats.
However, listening to your submission I noticed there's some audible hiss which could cause rejections in the future. The problem is that it's causing edit points to be obvious. My suggestion would be to try and pinpoint the cause or source of this hiss (normally it's a recording device) to fix it. Also, instead of editing out the space in between words, just lowering the noise would make the read sound more natural.
Cheers,

Hey Seb
Thanks for coming back to me on this audition. I really appreciate the feedback.
As a newbie to this game, could you tell what could be causing the hiss (I have to admit I don't hear it, maybe it is out of my audible resonance) and how I can remove this please? I admit I have been completely removing the space in between words and sentences to remove noise and generating silence. I use Audacity - to lower the noise how would you suggest I lower the noise - by highlighting the whole recording and using Effect, Noise Reduction?
I do so enjoy doing the Voice Bunny work and get so frustrated with myself when my work gets rejected.
Thank you in anticipation.
Best wishes
Soo
