For Bunny Manager: Recorded 2 new samples; trying to get approved audio quality-wise

    Hi Andy!

The room where you are recording is not appropriate. There is loud room echo that removes clarity from the voice. I can also hear a fan in the background.

I invite you to check our community for some material that can help you correct these problems. You can start here: https://goo.gl/vGqUIW

    Best,

    Juan.

    Hi Juan,

Strange, there was no fan. I've checked some of the material and added another sample here. Thanks.

    Best,

    Andy

Could you tell me if the above link meets your technical requirements?

    Hi Andy!

The sound is radically different and much better on the last recording you shared. The hiss noise in the back is still present, but it's pretty much filtered our. Did you add any processing? The recording also sounds quite compressed, but I do think it sounds much, much better than before.

I didn't add any processing. Nor did I compress it. I spoke closely to the mike, and... I draped a blanket over me and the mike & positioned it on the carpet. I don't know what that hiss noise could be. Is this sample quality sufficient enough for you to add to my profile? If still not, I'm figuring it may not be worth my attempting to submit other samples in the future. Please advise. Thanks.

    Hi Andy

Thanks for letting me know. I believe the issue could be, then, because you're speaking too closely to the microphone's capsule. This makes some frequencies to be boosted and make the recording sound muffled at some areas. The hiss noise sounds as if it was coming from the space, so it could be your computer's fan which is leaking into the recording. I wouldn't be able to tell easily as I don't know exactly how you're space is built.

I'm sorry, but the sample wouldn't be approved by the team. I do believe, however, that the problems can be easily fixed by reviewing your acoustic treatment and positioning of the microphone in your space. If you'd like to review that and give it a try, we'll be here to help!

    Angela,

My computer's fan is nowhere near the microphone. I would say at this point it makes no sense for me to continue on Bunny. Other clients haven't had a problem with the sonic quality of my recordings. Thanks anyway.
