Feedback on new recording please
Hello,
While I wait for my reconsideration process to begin, I wanted to know if I could get feedback on my new recording setup. Rode NT1, Zoom H6, Adobe Audition. Do you think this recording will be acceptable to pass QC? Link below. Thanks in advance.

Checking the recording I find the following problems.
1. The edits are too harsh. I believe you may not be fading appropriately when you cut as well as cutting too near to a word's ending. This sometimes ends up in losing sound and afterimage which makes the recording sound a bit stiff and unnatural.
2. The recording sounds overcompressed. I do believe it's compressed and not with excessive gain because the volume varies throughout the recording making the peaks to go lower than the areas where the audio has more space. This is a common issue when the file is compressed too tightly. I suggest you toss the compressor away and record at healthy levels. If you need more gain, you can increase it in your DAW or via normalization.
