Hi Eric,
Listening to your audio, there are a few issues that will need to be fixed before your audio gets through.
-There's background hum/hiss, maybe coming from a computer fan or A/C?
-There are a lot of background noises like shuffling, papers, clothes rustling.
-Edits are audible. To prevent this, apply crossfades or fades at splice points.
-Lastly and more importantly, there is boxiness affecting your recording, which is probably due to insufficient or incorrect acoustic treatment of the room you're recording in. You’ll find tips on acoustic treatment here: https://goo.gl/vGqUIW.
