    Hi, Larisa

I've listened to your sample and your application project and there is significant room echo in both. My suggestion would be to record in a smaller room and recording closer to the mic, about 2 inches max. You can also try reducing the mic gain which could help in reducing some of the hiss that is also audible in the recording.

Check this post for more detailed info on room echo: https://goo.gl/vGqUIW.

    Hope that helps,

    Hi Larisa!

I have to agree with Seb on this one. The recording has a lot of room echo which could be caused by either the size of the space or the amount of acoustic treatment it has. I highly suggest you review which reflective surfaces you have near the microphone (windows, wooden floors, plastic surfaces, etc.) that may be creating extra reflections and damaging the quality of the file.

Let us know once you've made some adjustments and I hope the article we wrote helps :)

Thank you for your feedback. I have since made the proper adjustments, including creating a small room that is sound modified. I submitted for reconsideration a few days ago (and am still awaiting a new assignment to try out).

Thank you, your feedback is very appreciated!
