What other websites is VB marketing my voice (our voices) through? (Ex: Intulse.com)
Doing a quick google search of my VB ID number (5BFS7P4) to see what came up, imagine my surprise to find a list of samples including mind and many other voice talent on this site.
So, my question is, what are the names of all of the websites VB is using to market our voices?
And the follow-up questions of:
What are you getting paid for each job?
How are we being paid for each job?
Are you receiving any other types of compensation for offering our voice-services?
Are we being paid off of the amount that the client is paying the original site, or what VB is getting paid as a provider? (Thereby paying us off of wholesale value, instead of as a percentage of the total amount paid by the client for the project. i.e. If Intulse charges the client $1000 for the job, but only pays VB $300, which amount are we getting paid for? I think I know the answer, and it would be pretty obvious that the Talent are getting screwed.)
Why haven't you been upfront with us about hosting our voices on other sites?
If you are not providing this service, how did you not know what was happening?
I am eager to hear your answers.
Thank you,
Chris

Hi Christopher!
Thank you for sharing this case with us. I'm sorry for taking so long to respond. I was out on vacation when you shared the concern and then we went on a company retreat which delayed the investigation of the matter.
Keep in mind that at VoiceBunny we offer an API for other websites to integrate our platform. Our API is free and available for any interested website that would like to become our partner. You can find all the information relation to the API in our website https://voicebunny.com/api/documentation/. You can find the link to this page in VoiceBunny’s footer under the section LEARN MORE.
The API is designed to allow partner companies to sell our services within their own platforms and bring potential new clients to VoiceBunny. This information is all public and has been available for several years now. The pricing and/or model from VoiceBunny remains the same for which our projects’ prices, markup, and rewards will be exactly the same as if a client visited our main website. This integration makes it easier for these companies to direct their clients to us as they can acquire their voice overs without having to go to a different website altogether. With this integration, we make our clients experiences much more fulfilling and makes it easier for us to offer more work to our pool of Pros. This benefits both, our partners, our Pros and us!
As mentioned, we don’t add any extra cost to projects that come to the API compared to projects that come from our main website. Your rewards will be calculated based on your rates, as with any other projects. Remember, as always, that our markups are added after your reward is set, so you’re free to choose the prices that you see fit.
If you believe you’re not getting rewarded correctly as per your working standards, I highly advise you to review your rates and increase the points you consider necessary. I can’t stress enough that we want you to be compensated as per your standards!
To close the response, keep in mind that the API is just an extension of our website that works as a differentiator from other platforms and that brings us more clients. We are confident that this integration allows us to provide a more fulfilling experience to all parties involved in VoiceBunny to bring much more work to you.
Hope this explained it and, again, thank you for sharing this case with us!
